    • Yes Steve, that’s me.

It’s been so long since then. I’m currently 62, and since we were in the same school year, you would be about that age too.

I’m currently retired, in Florida, living in a small house with a heated swimming pool that I bought late 2014 for my retirement years.

So, how have you been? Also, do you have any interest in my book?

          • I have just had time to skim your book, just the good parts. Too bad we didn’t connect more when we were kids. We had a great deal in common.

I have a photo someone sent me recently of us with some other kids in Boy Scouts, probably in about 1968 or so. I would like to send it to you.

Where are you in Florida? I am in Minneapolis these days, but lived in Sarasota from 2000 until 2007 and then Tampa until 2013, when I moved up north.

I have been practicing Eckankar since 1975, so out of body travel, dreams and reincarnation are common subjects for me. Are you familiar with Eckankar – http://www.eckankar.org ? I know four others from Berkeley Heights who have been studying ECK for 40 years or more.

It is good to touch base.

            Steve

Okay, I sent you an email using the email address you gave.

            >Where are you in Florida?

I’m living in the town of Hernando, in Citrus County.

No, but after looking over their website that you link to, and reading some of the wiki page and that wiki page’s “talk” page, I was led to this Amazon book: The Making of a Spiritual Movement: The Untold Story of Paul Twitchell and Eckankar. I then read some of that book using Amazon’s “Look Inside”. Apparently, the book gives evidence that the Eckankar founder was a plagiarist.

Anyway, I didn’t need to spend as much time as I did researching, since in the first minute of looking at http://www.eckankar.org, and reading the graphic at the top of the page which says “Behind everything that you do is the life pulse of the Holy Spirit, the Voice of God, which we call the ECK.”, I knew that your religion was not based on computer science or any other science, but instead was, at best, based on personal experiences that were explained using the antique terminology of old, existing religions.

Regarding yourself, Steve, have you had any OBEs of significance yourself, and, if so, how did you bring them about?

[Note added 2/17/18: Steve has answered me by email, so I assume he wants to keep his reply private.]
